Central Bank of Libya discusses the unification of the budget for 2018 with the Audit Bureau and the National Oil Corporation

Representatives of the Central Bank of Libya, as well as its parallel bank in Al-Bayda, the National Oil Corporation and the Audit Bureau are discussing ways to unify the state budget for next year and adjusting the exchange rate.

During their meeting in Tunis on Sunday, the bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) called for proposals on the budget and the development of non-oil revenues in the country.

It is worth mentioning that the Central Bank of Libya announced on November 2nd the agreement on the economic reform program between the Central Bank and the Audit Bureau in addition to the Presidential Council, the GNA, and the House of Representatives.
