Russia: We seek mediation between the tribes of the Tabu and Tuareg and the Government of National Reconciliation
A Russian official said his country had been able to organize talks between Tabu and Touareg leaders in the city of Ubari and the head of the GNA, Fayez Al-Sarraj.
On Wednesday, the Russian news agency Sputnik reported that the talks had resolved several of the conflicts and they agreed to continue talks, noting that Moscow was ready to organize Libyan talks on Russian territory.
The agency said that Russia is mediating between the tribes of southern Libya and the GNA to resolve the Libyan crisis, according to the agency.
Mohamed Hassan one of the Touareg elders had denied to Arraed LG that Russian mediation between them and the tribes of the Tabu in the south had taken place.
