The head of the Supreme Council of State Khalid Al-Meshri said that he had invited the head of the House of Representatives Aguila Saleh to visit Tripoli, and may meet in the capital soon.
In an interview with the channel “Libya Al-Ahrar”, Al-Mashri said that he met with the Speaker of the House of Representative (HOR) on three previous occasions, adding that he saw a great openness on the need to work between the House of Representatives and the Highest State.
Al-Meshri also confirmed that Saleh told him that they were too late in the need to reconcile the political bodies in Libya to find solutions.
The last meeting of the President of the Supreme Council of the State and the Speaker of the House of Representatives was three days ago in the city of Palermo on the sidelines of the Palermo conference on Libya.
