Turkey Exempts Libyans Under the Ages 12 and Over 65 of Pre-entry Visa

Turkey announced on Sunday that Libyan nationals under the age of 12 and over 65 would be exempted from their pre-entry visas.

According to the decree published in the Official Paper, transmitted by the Turkish agency “Anatolia”, the said category of Libyan citizens will be able to enter Turkey without a prior visa, staying for tourist purposes up to 90 days in 180 days.

It is noteworthy that Turkey imposed in 2015 a visa to the Libyan citizens, after the deterioration of the security situation in the country.
