Misurata’s Municipality is Studying the Possibility of Participating in a Meeting in Paris

A member of Misurata’s Municipal Council, on Sunday, Ali Abuesta said that the council had received an invitation from the French Foreign Ministry to attend a meeting of Libyan political parties in the French capital Paris.

In a statement to ArraedLg, Abuesta said that the members of the municipality were considering the possibility of participating in the meeting, adding that the final decision would be made clear on Monday.

Abuesta pointed out that the meeting will include representatives of the House of Representatives (HOR) and others from the Supreme Council of the State, and a number of active political figures in Libya.

This meeting will be held next Thursday in the French capital Paris.
