Unifying the military establishment and holding elections … the focus of the American ambassador’s meeting with Al Manifi.

On Sunday, the US envoy and ambassador to Libya, Richard Norland, discussed with President of the Presidential Council Muhammad Al-Manifi unifying the military, security and other institutions.

Norland said that he had a “good” discussion during his meeting in Tunis with Al Manifi on the issues of the elections to be held on December 24th, national reconciliation, the evacuation of foreign fighters, and the improvement of security conditions in the south to fully deal with human trafficking issues, and the presence of mercenaries.
