On Sunday, the UAE began operating logistical air support flights for the French-led forces in the countries of the African coast region in western Africa.
The UAE Ministry of Defense said: The flights “support the efforts of the international community, led by France, in combating terrorism in the countries of the African coast region, to achieve security and stability” , according to Alrabi 21 website.
The Ministry of Defense did not clarify the intended logistical support to be provided.
It is worth noting that several sectors of the people of the countries of the region, Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso, Chad and Mauritania accuse France of plundering the wealth of their countries.
