Tripoli Municipality preparing five schools to receive displaced residents from clashes

The head of the Higher Committee for the Return of Displaced, Mohamed Al-Fadel said on Monday that Tripoli Municipality has equipped five schools to receive displaced people from areas of clashes.

Al-Fadel said in a statement to ArraedLG, the Committee established a joint room with civil society institutions and the Ministry of Social Affairs to prepare some schools as temporary shelter centers for displaced families, pointing out that the committee has received dozens of families in Al-Initaq School in Janzur and the scout headquarters in Tajura.

The south of Tripoli is witnessing repeated armed clashes, resulting in the deaths and injuries of civilians.
