The head of the Ambulance and Emergency agency, Faisal Ali said on Thursday that 26 people were killed and 75 wounded, mostly civilians, in the preliminary toll of the clashes in southern Tripoli.
Ali pointed out that the ambulance personnel are waiting for the withdrawal of forces stationed in the area of engagement to enter and rescue the injured civilians trapped in their homes.
The Elders of Reconciliation announced yesterday, a preliminary agreement to stop clashes between the two fighting parties in southern Tripoli.
