The High Council of State (HCS) welcomed on Wednesday a statement by members of the House of Representatives (HOR) supporting the political agreement demanding the restructuring of the Presidential Council (PC).
In a statement, the HCS expressed its readiness to resume dialogue rounds according to the political agreement and to look for mechanisms for selecting an executive authority, stressing the inability of the current government at various levels, which made reconsidering its structure an important step to be taken.
Members supporting the political agreement confirmed, in a statement, that the Presidential Council in its current status no longer represents the concept of national consensus, demanding restructuring it through the establishment of effective executive authority.
