A source from El Sharara oil field said the production of the field amounted to 260 thousand barrels per day, after the restart of the control station.
The source said, in a statement to Reuters on Tuesday, that station 186 was restarted with a capacity of 50 thousand barrels per day, which is equivalent to about half of its capacity.
The site 186 of El Sharara field was attacked, last July, by an armed group, which kidnapped two field employees.
