House of Representatives (HOR) member, Abdulsalam Nassia said on Saturday, the priority for Libya now is to complete the constitutional process, unify the institutions and prepare for the elections.
During a meeting with UN envoy to Libya, Ghassan Salame and his deputy for political affairs, Stephanie Williams, he expressed hope that the HOR would vote on the referendum law next week, according to the official page of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL).
Nassia also discussed with the UN envoy economic reforms and ways to improve services, stressing that the current political and economic situation in Libya is no longer tolerable.
The House of Representatives suspended its last session, announcing the postponement of the study of the referendum law on the Constitution to the meeting next Monday.
