France condemns attack on Egela police station

The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the attack on Egela police station south of the city of Ajdabiya, killing one person and wounding three others.

In a statement on Wednesday, the foreign ministry stressed that France would continue to support the efforts of Libyans and UN Special Representative, Ghassan Salame to restore stability in Libya, stressing that Paris stands with the Libyans in the fight against terrorism.

Egela police station south of Ajdabiya was the target of a terrorist attack last Tuesday, which killed one person and wounded three others.
