The Government of National Accord (GNA) Defense Minister, Ohida Najm agreed on Monaday with French Foreign Minister, Jean-Yves Laudrian to activate military agreements between the two countries.
The GNA official page said the agreement between the parties included training and processing Libyan military forces, adding that the meeting dealt with the process of unification of the Libyan military.
The meeting concluded that the process of consolidating the military in all its details requires a unified political will and depends on the success of the political process.
French Foreign Minister, Jean-Yves Laudrian said that his visit to Libya today came to affirm the Paris agreements and to overcome the obstacles facing the democratic process and the holding of elections in accordance with the agreement.
