French FM & Tunisian President discuss the latest developments on the Libyan scene

French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Laudrian and Tunisian President Béji Kayed Sibsi discussed the latest political developments in Libya and efforts to reach a comprehensive political solution to the crisis.

The two sides stressed in their meeting on Sunday in Tunisia that the solution in Libya is in accordance with the presidential initiative for the political settlement of the Libyan crisis agreed at the Paris conference, which presided over the holding of elections.

The Libyan parties agreed in Paris to hold presidential and parliamentary elections in December, preceded by a referendum on the Constitution in September this year.
