Misurata MPs call for handing over ports to the legitimate Oil Corporation

The Political Gathering of the Deputies of Misurata called on Thursday for handing over oil ports to the internationally recognized National Oil Corporation (NOC) “without delay”.

In a statement, the Gathering called for reconsidering the current conditions of the residents of the oil crescent region and lifting the injustice imposed on them, especially the “Al-Mgharba tribe”, so that they can achieve real stability that will cut the way for anyone trying to exploit the legitimate demands of the region’s Al-Mgharba residents and the facilities Guards, to fuel the conflict.

The National Oil Corporation announced the imposition of force majeure on the oil ports in the eastern region, after the announcement of Haftar Forces handing over oil ports to the parallel Corporation in Benghazi.
