Red Crescent retrieves more than 20 unidentified bodies

The Libyan Red Crescent Corps management and recovery team transported 24 bodies of illegal immigrants from various parts of western Libya.

The General Directorate of the Red Crescent said on Sunday that the emergency team recovered in the past two days five bodies from the quay of the Tripoli naval base and 4 other unidentified bodies from Dela port in Zawiya, pointing out that the team continues to retrieve bodies from the beaches of Khoms.

The management of the Red Crescent denied, in a statement, what media outlets reported about the team recovering 116 bodies belonging to immigrants of Arab nationalities, found buried in the Libyan Desert.
