UK says international community will not allow any obstacle to the political process

The United Kingdom ambassador to Libya, Frank Baker said on Saturday his country and the international community will not allow any impediment to the political process in Libya.

During his meeting with head of the Presidential Council (PC) of the Government of National Accord (GNA), Faiz Al-Sarraj in Tripoli, Baker reiterated UK’s commitment to provide all assistance to the success of UN special envoy to Libya, Ghassan Salame’s mission.

The British ambassador to Libya confirmed, in previous statements, the support of his country to the GNA and the path of consensus led by the United Nations Support Mission in Libya.
