NOC opens investigation into cargo plane crash

The National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced on Sunday, the opening of an investigation into the crash of the C130 cargo plane, which killed the captain and two of his aides.

The NOC said in a statement obtained by ArraedLG, the plane, which crashed during takeoff from Sharara Oil field airport belongs to the Libyan air force and rented by Akakus Oil Operation Company operating in the field, for the provision of supplies and maintenance.

The director of the security department Ubari told ArraedLG, a cargo plane crashed during take off, resulting in the killing of the captain and two of his aides.
