HCS new president says will communicate with HOR to sort out political blockage

The president of the High Council of State (HCS), Khalid Al-Mashri said on Sunday, he will communicate with the House of Representatives (HOR) to address the blockage in the political scene in Libya.

Al-Mashri said in his first statement after his election as president of the council, the transitional phase should end as soon as possible, stressing his quest to get the country to the permanent constitutional stage.

Khalid Al-Mashri was elected president of the High Council of State, on Sunday with 64 votes.
