The Libyan embassy in Jordan announced on Sunday Libyan patients over 50 and children under the age of 15 arriving in Jordan are exempt from applying for prior approval for treatment visas.
The embassy, in a statement on its official page, stipulated that the patients and their companions should have return travel tickets to obtain the exemption, in accordance with the decision of the Jordanian House of Representatives on the regulation of patient’s entry for treatment in Jordan.
The embassy confirmed that it is continuing to communicate with the Jordanian authorities to reach a full visa wavier for all Libyan citizens.
In December 2015, the Jordanian Foreign Ministry imposed a visa on Libyan nationals coming to Jordan.
