The Government of National Accord (GNA) Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday, that the Russian authorities released Libyan citizen, Abdulrahman Faraj Bayoud, who was detained in its prisons.
The ministry’s media office told ArraedLG, Bayoud left Russia through Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow on a Turkish Airlines plane, referring to the diplomatic role played by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Libyan Embassy in Russia for his release.
The Russian authorities seized Bayoud in July, after he quarreled with a Russian citizen.
