WHO provides medicines to people injured in Metiga clashes

The World Health Organization (WHO) said it had provided an emergency medical kit to the field hospital in Tripoli following armed clashes at Metiga international airport.

The agency said on its official Facebook page, on Saturday that the drugs were allocated for the treatment of injuries of type B, with the financial support of the Office of the European Union for Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid (ECHO).

The armed clashes at the airport led to the death of 25 people and injuring 101, according to the World Health Organization.
