Mali repatriates 172 migrants from Libya

The Mali Government in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration (IOM)  announced on Friday, of the return of 172 illegal migrants that were stranded in Libya.

An additional source told Sputnik news agency  that another flight would be organized next Monday to repatriate about another 130 other migrants who are currently in Libya’s shelters.

According to Sputnik, the trip was the third to deport Malian from Libya  migrants, after Libya agreed to evacuate the stranded migrants at the end of November at  the African-European Summit in Ivory Coast.
