Navey spokesman Ayoub Kassem: We have saved more than 200 illegal immigrants

Navy spokesman Ayoub Kassem said the Coast Guard had rescued 250 illegal immigrants from different African nationalities, including 93 women and 26 children.

He added that the rescue operation was carried out by boat  Sabratha, who was on a reconnaissance mission, when it received a distress call from a boat carrying migrants. These migrants were transported to the Tripoli maritime base.
