The Local Council of Derna called on the Presidential Council to assume its responsibilities and to lift the siege on the city that has been imposed for more than a year.
The Council said in a statement that it is preparing a ship n with relief for the people of the city, and it is calling on the presidential council to help protect the ship until it reaches the port of Derna. There is a high risk to the relief shipment because of the siege imposed by the Operation Dignity forces on all the city’s ports.
