Ahmed Maiteeq, a Presidential Council Deputy, confirmed that the referendum on the constitution and elections will be conducted within a year at the latest.
Maiteeq explained that the goal of political dialogue, based on the plan of action of UN envoy Ghassan Salame, is moving towards the holding of parliamentary and presidential elections.
In a press conference with Italian Foreign Minister Angelino Alfano in #Rome on Monday, Maiteeq said the dialogue was continuing between the various parties in #Libya in order to achieve stability; which would then allow for the referendum and elections to be held on time.
