In a statement on Monday, #Sabratha Municipal Council stressed the urgent need to stop the clashes and to withdraw from the city center.
The Council attributed the cause of the clashes to the targeting of a car belonging to the Chief of Staff by the the Brigade responsible for combatting ISIS in #Sabratha because the car did not stop at a checkpoint.
The municipality asked that the Presidential Council and the Ministry of Defense to intervene to solve the issue. The municipality also called on the wisemen to participate in resolving the conflict in order to spare #Sabratha from further conflict and violence.
