The National Human Rights Committee expressed its concern over the areas of #Asbi’a, #Al_Hirah and Souq Al-Khamees, after violent clashes on Sunday.

The NHRC further announced in a statement on Sunday that the revolutionaries battalion of #Tarhuna attacked the areas of #Al_Hirah and #Asbia , leading to a state of panic and fear in the region.

In its statement, the committee emphasized that hostilities against civilians which endanger their security, safety and lives as well as the use of various weapons in residential areas constitutes “war crimes” in accordance with international humanitarian law.
