Government of National Acccord (GNA) Prime Minister Fayez Al-Sarraj met with 30 members of the Tobruk-based House of Representatives (HoR) on Thursday.

Sarraj led the meeting with the Tobruk-based parliament where they discussed the formation of a new government after the HoR gave a vote of “No Confidence” to the current government.

According to the Presidential Council, the objective of the meeting was to establish opportunities of collaboration between the GNA and other political and civil entities in Libya, in particular the HoR. The hope is that such collaboration will unify and strengthen Libya.

The Presidential Council said that in order for Libya to unify, various political and civil entities must set aside their differences and come together to work on overcoming the security challenges that the country is facing.
