Italian Interior Minister Luciana Lamorgese said that she is confident in Libya’s ability to use this timing by moving towards complete stability.
In statements reported by Aki agency on Monday, Lamorghese expressed her country’s readiness to assist Libya in this path by supporting comprehensive cooperation projects, and also asking European institutions to provide maximum tangible support to the Libyan government.
Lamorgese added that Italy would urge the European Union to stand by Libya through the activities of the International Organization for Migration and the UNHCR.
It is worth noting that the Italian Interior Minister “Luciana Lamorghesi” visited Tripoli last Sunday, and discussed with a number of officials the cooperation between Libya and Italy and the issue of immigration and border security.
