The Libyan Crime Watch Organization said, on Sunday, that armed men affiliated with Haftar kidnapped Salem Al-Shaeri and his wife in Al-Hadaiq area in Benghazi.
The organization added – in a statement – that the group threw the wife and children in a street in the city and took Al-Shaeri to Al-Kuwaifiyeh prison without explaining the reasons for his arrest.
The organization condemned the continuing violations against civilians in Benghazi, holding the official authorities in the city fully responsible for them, calling on the government to take the necessary measures to prevent these crimes from recurring.
On Saturday, the organization monitored the killing of a two-year-old child, and the wounding of his mother and two brothers (4) and (10) years, following an armed attack on their residence near the teachers’ resort, west of Benghazi.
It is worth noting that the “Al-Shawaer” tribe in Benghazi condemned, on Saturday, the attack on one of the family’s homes and the kidnapping of women and throwing them in the streets by armed groups, demanding the release of Al-Shaer
