The Commander of the Western Military Region, Major General Osama Jwaili, said that there is a feeling of optimism; After agreeing on the national unity government and the new Presidency Council, expressing his hope that the House of Representatives will meet at the earliest opportunity, and give the government confidence to carry out its duties.
Jwaili added in press statements Monday, that the job and tasks of this government are specified, which is preparing for the elections, and holding them on time at the end of this year.
Jwaili stressed that holding the elections on time will not be achieved without the cooperation of everybody, and the provision of a safe environment for the work of the government.
It is worth noting that the period granted to Prime Minister-designate Abdulhamid Dbaiba to present his ministerial formation to Parliament ends on February 26, according to the roadmap agreed upon at the Political Dialogue Forum in Tunis last November.
