“5 + 5” calls on the participants in the Berlin conference to implement their promises to remove the mercenaries.

On Saturday, the “5 + 5” Joint Military Committee called on the countries participating in the Berlin conference to fulfill their obligations in implementing the ceasefire agreement and remove foreign mercenaries from Libya.

In a statement, the committee called on the countries concerned to immediately implement the expulsion of all mercenaries and foreign fighters from Libya and to comply with the arms embargo imposed on the country by the Security Council, coinciding with the end of the 90-days term set for their removal.

The committee stressed that it continues to work diligently to fully implement all the terms and provisions of the agreement for a complete and sustainable ceasefire in accordance with the Geneva Agreement, urging the parties from both parties to fulfill their obligations.

It is worth noting that the “5 + 5 Joint Military Committee” agreed in November last year in the city of Sirte to withdraw fighters and remove mercenaries from all parts of the country.
