Demonstrations in Tunisia due to Corona measures.

Some neighborhoods of the Tunisian capital and some other cities witnessed protests and clashes between demonstrators and security men, against the backdrop of government measures taken by the government to limit the spread of the Corona epidemic.

According to news agencies, the demonstrations came against the background of a rejection of the measures imposed by the government to confront the outbreak of Corona, while the Tunisian Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of more than 242 demonstrators.

It is worth noting that the Tunisian Ministry of Health announced, last Tuesday, the imposition of a comprehensive ban for a period of 4 days, starting from Thursday, as part of a package of measures to confront the Corona virus, at a time when the number of infections recorded in the country reached 177,231, of which 5616 died up to Saturday the 16th of January.
