Pompeo: Concrete measures will be taken soon against perpetrators of human rights violations in Libya.

US Secretary of State “Mike Pompeo” affirmed that the United States of America will continue to take concrete measures against the background of the gross violations of human rights in Libya, which undermine the peace, security and stability process.

“Pompeo” stated on his official Twitter account on Friday that his country had imposed sanctions on the “Al Kani” militia and its commander by Mohamed Al-Kani, for committing massacres of hundreds of civilians in recent years.

It is worth noting that the United States of America announced last Wednesday the inclusion of the “Al Kani” militia and its commander Mohamed Al-Kani in the black list of penalties for carrying out human rights violations, torture and killing of civilians.
