The British “Guardian”: Bashagha is trusted to take over the next government.

The British newspaper “The Guardian” said that the recent visit of Interior Minister Fathi Bashagha to France led to him obtaining considerable French support, adding that he enjoys great local and international trust that enables him to lead a unified Libyan government.

The “Guardian” indicated that Bashagha is expected to become prime minister of the government, which will be formed with powers separate from the Presidential Council, explaining that Paris no longer has the same previous apprehension about Bashagha, whom the UAE and “forces in eastern Libya” consider him hostile to their interests.

It is worth noting that the Minister of Interior, Fathi Bashagha, visited France on November 20, during which he met with the ministers of interior, foreign affairs and defense
