The Minister of the Interior, Fathi Bashagha, discussed in the French capital, Paris, on Tuesday, with a number of officials of security institutions specialized in biometric identification, opportunities for establishing partnerships with the Ministry of Interior.
Bashagha signed with one of these institutions a memorandum of understanding to develop barometric identity systems, to equip them for election requirements and other security purposes.
Bashagha discussed with these officials assistance in developing barometric systems to verify identity in a safe and intelligent manner, by means of facial recognition, fingerprints, and fingerprints without contact, as well as the provision of electronic plates for motor vehicles.
It is worth noting that Interior Minister Fathi Bashagha is visiting Paris, at the invitation of the official authorities of the French Republic, to enhance joint cooperation on the security level between the State of Libya in the areas of combating terrorism, organized crime and training.
