On Friday, United States Ambassador Richard Norland stressed the great American respect for the patriotic Libyans participating in the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum in Tunisia, whose success will greatly contribute to peace and security in Libya.
During his conversation with Foreign Minister Muhammad Siala, Norland discussed the US embassy’s intention to start formal consultations with the Libyan authorities on the lengthy process of securing real estate in Tripoli to facilitate long-term US diplomatic ties in Libya.
It is worth noting that the Acting Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Libya, Stephanie Williams, announced the launch of the Libyan political dialogue on November 9 in Tunisia.
