Sources reported to the American “Bloomberg” agency that the Government of National Accord had agreed to release the Russian citizens detained in Libya, “Maxim Shogali” and “Samer Saifan,” and they would be sent to Moscow within days.
The agency added, on Tuesday, that Moscow reached an agreement with Tripoli last week to release the Russian citizens – according to Sputnik.
It is worth noting that, in June of last year, Tripoli announced the arrest of two Russian citizens working for the Fund for the Protection of National Values on charges of espionage.
