On Monday, Secretary-General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, welcomed the permanent ceasefire agreement in Libya, which was signed by the Libyan Joint Military Commission “5 + 5” in Geneva.
In a press conference, Stoltenberg considered the agreement an important step towards peace, according to what was reported by the Italian “Nova” agency, stressing the need for the parties to respect the agreement and implement it.
Stoltenberg called on the Libyan parties to respect the agreement, indicating support for the efforts of the United Nations and the Berlin process.
