Al-Mishri: There is no agreement on Aqeela to take over the presidency of the Presidential Council, and Maiteeq’s agreement came to save Haftar.

The head of the Supreme Council of State, Khaled Al-Mishri, denied rumors about the existence of an agreement for Aqeela Saleh to assume the presidency of the next Presidential Council, and that Al-Mishri will be a deputy in the Council.

Al-Mishri said in statements to the February channel, Monday, that he has no desire or ambition to be a member of the new presidential council, adding that if he decides to continue political life, it will be through elections and not through deals to be concluded here and there, according to him.

Al-Mishri stressed that they will not accept cancelling the agreements concluded by the Presidential Council without a clear state of stability, as he put it, indicating that they are monitoring what is happening in Sirte, Al Jufra and the Oil Crescent in conjunction with the rounds of dialogue.

In a related context, Al-Mishri considered the agreement between a member of the Presidential Council, Ahmed Maiteeq and the war criminal Haftar or his delegates, is to save Haftar from the drowning , stressing that the oil “will be opened despite Haftar’s intransigence and those with him”, stressing the accountability of those who caused the shutdown of oil and more than $ 10 billion in losses.
