On Sunday, Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said that his country is helping the Libyans establish a regular army, unlike the UAE, France and Russian Wagner mercenaries, which support Haftar’s militia.
Akar indicated, in a statement to the Turkish Anadolu Agency, that more than 20 mass graves were found in the city of Tarhuna, after the withdrawal of Haftar’s militias from it, pointing out that many countries and institutions remain silent about the violations of Haftar and his militias.
It is worth noting that the advisor to the Turkish President Yassin Aktay said, on Saturday, in a statement to Arabi 21 that the UAE, and perhaps France, want the Egyptian army to fight Turkey, noting that Turkey’s role in Libya is only to establish reform and peace.
