The European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, welcomed the Moroccan initiative that brought together members of the Supreme Council of State and the Tobruk Parliament.
Borrell said, according to the Italian agency AKI, on Tuesday, that the initiative comes at the appropriate time and is in the track of the United Nations efforts to resolve the Libyan crisis, pointing out that the parties concerned are determined to search for a political solution to the conflict, which is encouraging.
It is worth noting that the Turkish Foreign Ministry expressed on Wednesday its appreciation for the constructive stances of the State of Morocco in resolving the Libyan crisis, in light of the meetings of the Supreme Council of State and the Tobruk Representatives.
