On Monday, the National Center for Disease Control warned all citizens of the need to follow precautionary and preventive measures against the Corona virus, due to the rapid escalation of the epidemic situation.
In a statement, the center stressed the need to prevent gatherings of all kinds, emphasize quarantine, physical and social distancing, wear masks, continue sterilization and disinfection for all activities and facilities, and pay attention to personal hygiene measures.
The center demanded that citizens residing in areas with an epidemic spread not to leave the area except for necessity so that the epidemiological monitoring and investigation teams can track and count contacts and stabilize the situation.
The National Center for Disease Control urged all relevant authorities, civil society institutions and councils in the municipality to cooperate and participate and provide all facilities for the campaigns carried out by its technical teams to limit the spread of the virus and raise the capacity of community health laboratories in the municipality and equip them and launch community awareness programs and psychological and social support.
It is worth noting that, on Monday, the National Center for Disease Control recorded an epidemiological development, the first of its kind, with 1,085 injuries, including 845 new cases, and 11 deaths.
