United Nations: Russia has strengthened its support for the Wagner in Libya with 338 military flights.

A United Nations report revealed that Russia has strengthened its logistical support for “Wagner” mercenaries in Libya with about 338 military cargo flights coming from Syria in the last nine months of this year.

The report, published by Reuters on Wednesday, indicated that the Russian military logistical support for “Wagner mercenaries” and other private military companies based in the Russian Federation increased significantly from January to June of this year, noting that the number of “Wagner” in Libya reached 1,200 mercenaries, according to a report previously Posted last May.

The report stated that the UAE, Russia, Jordan and Egypt violated the arms embargo on Libya, but the UN had not received any response from the missions of these countries to the accusations contained in the report.

The spokesman for the Sirte Al-Jafra Operations Room, Abdulhadi Drah, confirmed earlier this month that they had spotted five flights of Russian military cargo planes coming from Benina airport to Al-Qardabiya base in Sirte and Al-Jufra air base.

Al-Sunni directed an official protest to the Security Council about the repeated violations of Haftar’s militias and their shelling of the army forces west of Sirte for the third time within 72 hours, and the Council must take a firm stance against these violations, while the army reserves the right to respond and strike the sources of threats at the appropriate time and place.
