The National Center for Disease Control announced the registration of 309 new cases of Coronavirus, the highest daily recovery rate of cases with 38 cases, and zero deaths for the first time in more than a month.
According to the center’s statement, on Wednesday, the cases of recovery were distributed in the municipalities of Sabrata and Misurata with 13 cases each, 6 cases in the city of Tarhuna, 4 in the city of Bani Waleed, and one case for each of Zawiya and Zliten.
For its part, the Scientific Advisory Committee to Combat the Coronavirus Pandemic addressed the responsible authorities in the Ministry of Health to provide oxygen gas, whether in cylinders, tanks, or oxygen plants for hospitals, isolation centers and care centers.
The committee recommended the necessity of providing 30 million medical masks for workers at the Ministry of Health and its facilities until the end of this year, one million medical masks (N95) and (FN95) for isolation centers, and (70) million medical masks sold to the local market at a nominal value to citizens.
It is worth noting that Libya has recorded 5,701 active infections, 778 recoveries, and 132 deaths from the Corona virus so far.
