The killing of a “retired officer” after being kidnapped in Benghazi.

A retired army officer, Abdul Moneim Al-Dibani, who was working at Al-Kharouba Air Base, which Khalifa Haftar had handed over to the Emirates, was killed after his disappearance in mysterious circumstances.

According to identical media sources, a member of the family of the assassinated officer revealed that al-Dibani’s body was found on the road to Al-Qawarsha in Benghazi, with traces of nearly 32 stab wounds with a sharp object, and that they had lost contact with him since last Saturday.

It is worth noting that the eastern region under Haftar’s control is witnessing assassinations, kidnappings, murders, and enforced disappearances at the hands of Haftar’s militias and killings without trial.
