Andrea Kozolino, head of the European Parliament delegation for relations with the Maghreb countries, condemned on Thursday the continuous attacks by Haftar militias on the capital, Tripoli.
In statements reported by the Italian agency “Nova”, Kozolino said that the continuation of the attacks had a terrible impact on the civilian population, which had suffered greatly.
Kozolino stressed the need to implement Security Council Resolution 2510 on Libya, especially respect for all member states for the arms embargo, and the withdrawal of all armed mercenaries from Libya.
It is worth noting that the militias of Haftar targeted, yesterday evening, Thursday, the area surrounding the embassies of Turkey and Italy, in Zawiat Dahmani area in Tripoli, which led to the death of 3 individuals, including two security elements protecting the two embassies.
