Qanuno: The explosions at the Air Force College were caused by fire, in the remainder of mines and shells that were intended to be destroyed.

The Libyan army spokesman, Colonel Pilot Muhammad Qanunu, confirmed on Wednesday that the cause of the explosions at the Air College in Misrata was an accidental fire near the remains of mines and “blind ammunition” shells that had been collected to be destroyed.

Qanunu denied recording any human casualties as a result of the explosions, explaining that the national safety teams extinguished the fire, according to the page of the Operation Volcano of Anger.

It is worth noting that explosions were heard this evening in separate districts of the city of Misrata, Haftar’s media claimed that they were caused by an aerial bombardment of the city’s air force college.
